Tutorial Training
Following the success of the 2008 POREC tutorial in Guangzhou, we are now planning the 2010 tutorial in Keelung, Taiwan. The PORSEC 2010 tutorial will be held at the National Taiwan Ocean University Campus on October 14th – 17th, 2010. The tentative schedule is shown below.
Students should start thinking about support for travel. There is no fee for tutorial registration. However, students will need to cover the cost of flight, accommodation and food. The PORSEC association has a number of scholarships available for partial support for student travel to the tutorial. Please send a cover letter and CV to stephanie.king@dfo-mpo.gc.ca to apply. The deadline for applications is June 30th 2010. Successful applicants will be notified by July 31st.
